First Community Clean-Up

Starting from UC Merced to Richard Bernasconi Neighborhood Park, we dedicated our entire Saturday morning to cleaning our community's beautiful bike path.

The weather was perfect, and it was the best opportunity to reunite with friends, exercise, while helping out the community. We collected over 6 large bags worth of plastic, empty fast food containers, beer cans, cigarette containers, glass, and various other litter.

As people walked pass us, they thanked us for our service, started conversations, and asked about our organization. Even people waved and honked at us from their cars! The support from the community was unforgettable, and we were replete with happiness at the end of the day. We're looking forward to our next events and monthly community clean-ups!
